Entrepreneur & Emmy Award-winning television personality Jill Martin is the Lifestyle contributor for The TODAY show, Host of Shop Today with Jill Martin, and a New York Times bestselling author. Along with 101 Studios, Jill is the co-founder and Co-CEO of Shop the Scenes- an immersive marketplace that makes scripted and unscripted content shoppable.

After writing three self-help books, Martin always dreamed of having her own line where she can help women look and feel their best. She joined QVC in 2010 with organizational products to help bring ease into people’s life. She then took on the role of Creative Director of G.I.L.I. – The line included contemporary fashion and accessories. In September of 2022, BumbleBella by Jill Martin was established which includes IT LIST items centered around her iconic sherpa lounger and is sold exclusively on QVC.

Did you know…

Back in high school, I used to call in sick one Friday a month and I would dance on various shows on MTV. This was one of the most fun times of my life.

Martin was a broadcaster for MSG Networks and the New York Knicks from 2009-2021. Prior to that, Jill spent five years as a Sports Anchor/Reporter for CBS-4 (WFOR) in Miami back in 1999. She reported and anchored the 6pm and 11pm newscasts. Jill began her career as an assistant at The Maury Povich Show after interning at LIVE! with Regis and Kathie Lee and Geraldo. With experience with production under her designer belt, she soon began her broadcasting career in 1999. As the host of WAMI-TV’s Live, Jill reported on entertainment happenings in the Miami area, conducting celebrity interviews and covering special events. Following her time with Live, Jill spent a short time as a Hampton’s reporter for News 12 Long Island, reporting on the entertainment scene and writing a corresponding feature in Dan’s Paper highlighting the summer’s must-haves. From News 12, Jill landed a role as a Fashion Correspondent with Good Morning America on ABC where she highlighted the hottest fashion trends. After a year with ABC, Jill spent two years with the Miami Heat, sharing her passion for hoops as she hosted live broadcasts during timeouts and halftime.

Martin is an advisory board member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation which encompasses all areas of the Madison Square Garden family. In 2014, Martin enlisted some of her pals from the foundation to help her build the World’s Largest Shoe earning her a Guinness World Record. Her giant shoe came in at 6 feet long and nearly 4 feet high beating the former record holder which was set back in 1996.

Jill earned twelve Emmys for her reporting with the New York Knicks. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in communications.
